Shed 2 begins a new chapter
There’s a big change happening at Shed 2, as long-standing Head Chef Khovind moves on after an incredible 12 years in the kitchen.
Khovind has played a huge role in shaping the restaurant over the years, and the team wish him all the best as he begins a new role with Scenic Circle.
At the same time, it’s a welcome return for Kerran Layton, who is coming back to Ahuriri after many years working overseas. Bringing international experience and a strong connection to the area, Kerran is stepping into the role as Shed 2 begins an exciting new chapter.
With the restaurant approaching its 30-year milestone on West Quay, the future is looking bright for this much-loved Ahuriri dining spot.
