A Full House for the Ahuriri Ward Debate
🗳️ What a night in Ahuriri! The Sailing Club’s fantastic facilities were packed to capacity for the Ahuriri Ward debate, with the community turning out in force to hear from their candidates.
Six of the nine candidates took part, each beginning with a short introduction before answering questions submitted in advance by members of the public. The evening was expertly guided by Deputy Mayor Annette Brosnan, who kept the discussion lively and engaging. To close, Annette switched up the format — inviting all the candidates to the floor for some quick-fire answers and final thoughts, which brought plenty of energy and insight to the debate.
