Active Explorers Ahuriri

At Active Explorers Ahuriri, we focus on supporting children's physical, emotional, and social growth through fun, hands-on learning experiences. We have an experienced team of kaiako who are passionate about Ahuriri and support tamariki to explore our centre environment.

Our purpose-built centre flows naturally between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing the perfect setting for active and imaginative play. Our centre is newly renovated and has expansive spaces that feature natural light. Our large outdoor area is ideal for sensory and messy play, while inside, there are quiet zones where children can explore their creativity and reflect.

We cater to different age groups, from infants to preschoolers, with a variety of learning experiences and rhythms tailored to their developmental needs. Whether it’s through weekly physical sessions or celebrating cultural events like Matariki, we ensure every child’s learning journey is enriching and fun.
