Earth Hour
This fabulous event is happening on Saturday 27 March 2010, from 8.30pm until 9.30pm. Many restaurants in Ahuriri will be taking part in this once-a-year event. Earth Hour is supported by WWF and aims to raise worldwide awareness of "saving": the environment, power and the planet. Over 1 billion people all over the world will be switching off their lights during Earth Hour, you can help by dining in an Ahuriri participating restaurant and dine by romantic candlelight!

The Ahuriri Business Association will be holding an ABA Meeting on Tuesday 6 April 2010 from 5.30pm, venue is Shed 2
Coruba Fishing Competition - February 2010
The Annual Coruba Fishing Competition will be held in February 2010, with thousands of dollars wrth of prizes up for grabs.
Napier Sailing Club
Get ready to welcome over 250 youth competetors from over 50 countries when they arrive in Ahuriri during December 2011 for the Optimum Regatta. This is the first time the event has been held in Australasia! We will update as more information comes to hand.
